Biography
Born in Lembork, Poland. He has begun his music education at the The First Degree State Music School in Lębork in the accordion class of Marcin Warduliński and continued at the First and Second Degree Music High School in Gdańsk in the accordion class of Professor Krzysztof Olczak. He has completed his undergraduate studies ate the Gdańsk Academy of Music in the class of solo singing of Doctor Marcin Ciszewski. He has graduated the Frederic Chopin University of Music on the vocal department, specializing in the operatic singing in the class of Professor Ewa Iżykowska – Lipińska, receiving Master of Arts diploma.
He has collaborated, both as an instrumentalist and vocalist with the The Jantar Song and Dance Ensemble of the University of Gdańsk and the Lembork Region Song and Dance Ensemble.
In 2016 he made his operatic debut as count Belfiore in the Mozart’s opera “La finta giardiniera”, under the musical direction of Sylwia Janiak – Kobylińska and directed by Cezary Morawski (during the students’ project of the Gdańsk Academy of Music). He also created the role of Bastien in W.A.Mozart’s opera “Bastien and Bastienne” under the baton of Piotr Staniszewski, directed by Dariusz Paradowski at the 16th International Summer Festival of Culture and Arts in Hel.
In 2017 he performed on the stage of the Baltic Opera House as Parpignil in the opera “La boheme” by G. Puccini (directed by Karen Stone and conducted by Warcisław Kunc) and made world premieres of three sacred works of Polish composers from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries on the third anniversary of the canonization of John Paul II under the baton of Przemysław Stanisławski. At the end of that year he participated in the world premiere and recording of “Mass” and “Offertory” by Józef Elsner under Michał Sławecki.
In 2018 he performed the part of Vladimir Lenski on the chamber opera stage of the Polish National Opera House in the opera “Eugene Oniegin” by Piotr Czajkowski (directed by Ryszard Cieśla, directed by Rafał Janiak). He took part in the world premiere of the I. Zalewski’s stage cantata “Stabat Mater” at the Polish Radio Concert Studio of Witold Lutosławski during the Nowe Epifanie 2018 Festival which has resulted with the release of the recorded album. The same year he had his debut as Belmonte in the opera Mozart’s “die Entführung aus dem Serail” at the Warsach Chamber Opera (directed by Jurij Aleksandrow and conducted by Marcin Sompoliński). He created the part of Faust in the opera “Faust”by Antoni Radziwił during the outdoor performance at the Radziwiłł Palace in Nieborów (directed by Jitka Stokalska and directed by Marta KLuczyńska). At the end of that year he performed the concert version of the Stefan’s part form the opera “the Haunted Manor” by Stanisław Moniuszko during the Yangtze River Wuhan festival in China.
The year 2019 gave him opportunity to perform a modern opera-monodram “The End of Al Capone” of the American composer M. Schelle (directed by Mateusz Zaboklicki and directed by Ignacy Zalewski) and the concert version performance of the “Crimean Sonets” by Stanislaw Moniuszko under the baton of Rafał Janiak and two more Mozart’s opera titles were added to his artistic portfolio: Ferrando form the opera “Cosi fan tutte” at the Polish Royal Opera (directed by Jitka Stokalska, conducted by Dawid Runtz) and Don Ottavio form the opera “Don Giovanni” performed during the outdoor performance organized by the Museum in Nieborów and Arkadia in cooperation with SPAM (directed by Jitka Stokalska, musical direction by Marta Kluczyńska).
